The  All Share Index appreciated by 0.05%, settling at 98,169.30 from the previous close of 98,121.30. This brings the year-to-date to 31.71%,  the month-to-date to negative 6.11%, and the week-to-date to negative 1.31% respectively.

Market Capitalisation closed at N55.521 trillion. An aggregate of 297,202,321 units of shares was traded in 7,417 deals valued at N6,516,095,180.68
Market Breadth

The market breadth closed negative as 15 equities gained while 24 equities declined in share prices.

Percentage Gainers

Transcorp Hotels Plc led other gainers with 10% growth to close at  N96.50 from its previous price of N87.93

Livestock Feeds, Tantalizers, and Sunu Assurances Nigeria Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.42%, 9.38%,  and 7.44% respectively.

Percentage Losers

Sterling Financial Holdings Plc led other price decliners as it shed 9.69% off its share price to close at N3.82 from its previous close of N4.23

Computer Warehouse Group (CWG), International Energy Insurance, and The Initiate Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by  9.57%, 9.30%,  and 9.09% respectively.

Volume Drivers

Zenith Bank Plc traded about  48.489 million units of its shares in 577 deals, valued at N1.772 billion

Access Holdings Plc Plc traded about 39.876 million units of its shares in 732 deals, valued at N639.980 million

Transcorp Plc traded about 28.473 million units of its shares in 267 deals, valued at N397.343 million
